We had a birthday party today!

Xandra celebrated her 7th birthday today with a party at McDonalds! We invited 8 kids, and together with our three – the party totalled 11. We actually had 19 kids belonging to our party in the Play Place. One mom brought her 3 other kids, another mom brought her 4 other kids, and my grandfather brought my 5 year old cousin. What a zoo!

I love McDonalds Parties!

1. You don’t have to organize anything.
2. You don’t have to prepare or cook any food.
3. You don’t have to clean your house.
4. You don’t have to buy the goody bags. – they provide them
5. They supervise the kids.
6. You walk away from everthing when it’s finished, AND
7. It only costs $5.95 per kid. – sometimes just the goody bag costs that much

And these are the reasons why “I love McDonalds Parties”!

The only sorta weirdish thing about her party today is that……well……. we’re a little late! Not that much, we’re still within the 6 month mark. Her real birthdate is June the 30th. But, with the end of school craziness, and all the other stuff that was going on at that time……….yah, she kinda fell through the cracks. To be honest, we kinda pushed her through the cracks, under the rug, and behind the door. Hey, what does she care! We promised her she’d have a party, and we gave her one. Even though she spent the whole summer crying becuase we didn’t love her enough to give her a party! Get over it already!
