Happier, Stressful, Almost Finished Day!

Well, I had a bit of a down day the other day(it had been brewing for a few days), and today was sort of better! I wasn’t really down today, but I ended up stressing myself right out! I had too much to do, between this afternoon, and then tomorrow morning.

I’m leaving tomorrow morning at 11am to go to a Ladies Retreat. Pam is speaking, and has asked me to go with her. How Fun! So, we are leaving tomorrow morning, and my house was an absolute disaster. I needed to do the church bulletin, and I found out that when I re-arranged the buletin archives on my computer, I got a little “delete” happy, and deleted last weeks bulletin that I had done in “In Design”(A design program) So, I had to re-create the bulletin from scratch! AAAAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHH!

All of this, on top of needing to make dinner, and pack, and wanting to watch the Canucks game tonight, and tape Survivor, and CSI, and ER! Trying to fit in some time with my hubby, as well as, He needs to “FIX” some lady’s computer tonight!

That was today’s other fun! Jon started his own compnay a while ago, and has finally, just finally decided to do something with it. I guess when you haven’t been employed in almost 3 weeks – kind of a kick in the butt to get moving! So, we had 2,000 flyers printed off, and then today we walked around our entire neighborhood, and papered every house. Well, what do you know? He got his very first call about 2 hours after we got home. How Exciting! Now we just need to paper the rest of Abbotsford, and get a few more calls, because 1 customer just ain’t going to pay the rent. And, let me tell you – RENT DAY IS COMING! Not that I’m really stressed about that, only just a little, and mostly when I’m not trusting that God has asked us to walk this path, and follow it through ’till the end. Funny how two little things like “Faith” and “Trust” require so much of you – Like EVERYTHING!!

Well, the bulletin is finished, and I compromised – I’m listening to the hockey game(2-2 at the begining of the 3rd), and taping Survivor to watch later. Jon tidied the house while I made a quick visit to my friend in the hospital, who just had a little baby girl(too cute!) Now, I just need to pack, and finish up a few last minute things, and I’m “good to go”

Well, I’ll report back when I get back. Have a great weekend!

One day at a time.. Jon is already miles ahead of most people who just dream about starting a business.

Trust me.. it’ll happen. Slow and steady, but steady it will be.

And remember, there’s always mail fraud if things don’t work out. :)
