First Snow!
We’ve had our first snow of the season!
It’s not really expected to last.
As long as you look up at the trees, and the sky and the houses – it’s so beautiful! If your focus wanders down…,well, the sidewalks and roads are one big, nasty, grey, sludgy mess.
If you actually think about those sentences, there is a “life lesson” in there somewhere. Something along the lines of, “Don’t get caught up in the here and the now, focus on the bigger picture!”
I have to admit that even just typing that out, really hits home for me. I’ve been getting too focused on my here and now and not focused enough on the bigger picture of my life. Hmmmmm! Now what?!?!?!?!?
On a totally different topic, today we welcomed Fred and Mary to our family. Please excuse the “drowned-rat-looking-thing” that we call our son. He’s in desperate need of a hair cut and it’s not so fun to cut his hair(he squiggles too much) so I’ve been putting it off….and off….and off…….
I have a few random shots that I’ve taken today if you’re interested.
Hope your day is better than mine has been!

Most importantly – who’s gonna teach the wild-haired kid how to write his name in the snow? Father/Son bonding at its finest…
