You Tell Me…
I have a walk-in closet! It’s really not that exciting. It’s not really big enough to be considered a walk-in, but in order to get at your clothes(and anything else I’ve stashed in there for “safe keeping”) you have to cram/squish/slither in between the 2 rows of clothes and hangers.
I digress……
The women in my family have passed down a wonderful secret in regards to cleaning. Throw everything into a box, and then store it in the closet, garage, under the bed, and when all free space in those area’s are full - just use the master bedroom. It’s amazing as long as a little child doesn’t open the door to show off your mess!
I have just recently cleaned out my walk-in. It had been utilized as a storage locker for about 4 months, and frankly, I wanted it back. Took me a whole day, but it was finally clean! We have one little box of Halloween candy left and it’s on the top shelf in my walk-in. My son - the wonder that he is - manages to get from the ground up to the shelf which is about five and a half feet high. There are no shelves to do this with - I’m not sure how the lizard man snakes his way up there but he does. Daily! He hasn’t learned that we are serious when we say NO CANDY! I think somehow it translates in little stubborn boy language into - GO FOR IT! WE WANT TO HAVE A PHYSCHO RUNNING WILD IN THE HOUSE!
Now………Is it bad when your son bypasses the Christmas Presents, thrown into garbage bags on your closet floor, in his focused attempts to get at the candy? Does that say something about the state of my closet? Should I just be proud that Jeremy posseses the ability, in fact, to focus so single mindedly on one task?
Good or Bad - You tell me?

It’s good. He’ll be an excellent programmer. Just wait and see.
But… I suppose if he gets married it might not be so good.
“What’s that?” Hmmm… I thought I heard someone calling me about missing the last 2 meals because I was so engrossed in my work. Oh, nevermind.. probably just my imagination… now back to coding!
