Well, I just have a moment, while I’m supposed to be cooking dinner, but I had a few things I wanted to talk to you about.

My friend, Cara, wil be here in a few minutes. I am so excited becuase we are going out for dinner – NO KIDS! YAH! I mean, I know it’s Valentine’s Day and all and maybe I could go out with Jon, but well – honestly – regardless of what happens tonight he still stands a good chance of getting “lucky” tonight. Besides, how often is do I get to see my friend who currently lives in Corsica, and her sweetheart is still in Corsica, and I didn’t want her to be lonely – so out we are going. Jon and I will do a dinner out sometimes soon. It’s a bonus! Two dinners with no kids!

It sucks slightly because I’m still cooking dinner for Jon and the kids. Seriously, if I’m having a night out – Should I still have to cook? I don’t think so!

Worlds easiest dinner – Cook some cut up chicken with some oil and spices until it almost burns(kinda gets that brown crysty stuff on it) Add a can or two or Mushroom soup. Add a little chicken broth to thin out the mushroom soup slop – Pour on top of the twisty Pasta – I think it’s called Rotinni! VOILA – Dinner for tonight.

I actually think it’s kinda good and am hoping that there will be leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Hopefully the kids like it. They are so fickle – they like one thing one day and then not so much, the next time I serve it! Oh well, It won’t matter because I won’t be here to witness the chaos we call our dinner time!

Now, as Cara has just recently arrived from Corsica, and we haven’t yet determined where we are going to be eating – That should be an adventure in itself. Ring Ring! Hello, do we need a reservation to eat at your restaurant – No!?! We’ll be there in a few minutes, by the way, how long’s the wait? No, we don’t mind waiting 2 hours. See ya soon!

We’ll figure it out! Ooops, my son is screaming like he’s broken something. Usually he doesn’t sounds quite so urgent or freaked out…hold on a sec!

Well, nothing’s broken – I don’t think?!? Xan smushed his finger under the ladder on her bunkbed. They were goofing around. I think he’ll be okay! No worries! Food was starting to burn though – Had to turn that down.

Off Topic:
You know that it’s a bad sign when you have to sneeze, and you cross your legs with out even thinking about it. I’m only a few weeks pregnant – I’m going to be wearing diapers ina few months at the rate I’m going. Better ramp up on those Kegel exercises. I guess that the 5 or 6 of them a month that I have been doing isn’t really working for me. Sucks!
