The Plague
Well, No stupid comments in church this morning. Although I have to say that some people avoided me like I had the plague or something. I guess that is the trade off for asking people to respect your boundaries. Some don’t really know where the boundaries are and stay so far away so that they won’t cross by accident.
Some people were really nice, and came up and hugged me with out saying anything else. I wasn’t sure if they were hugging to say hello or hugging to say I’m sorry for your loss. Regardless, I think that today went as well as it could have gone.
We came home, and had lunch, and then the kids went crazy. Don’t know what was up with them. I made them get ready for school tomorrow. Bags packed, Clothes laid out, Homework done…..all that fun stuff. Hopefully tomorrow morning will be a little easier with a little less to do.
I’m not relly looking forward to explaining to everyone at school who knew that I was pregnant that I’m not. I’m hoping that I can chicken out and Jon will do it for me. It’s much easier than having people come up and ask you how you are doing and having to tell them. Don’t really see how it’s that much easier for Jon, but I really don’t want to do it.
It’s doubly hard ’cause one of the girls that I am friends with is pregnant. She’s was about 5 weeks ahead of where I was. She might even be having twins. Sucks! Oh well, One day I too will have another little one. Until then I wait.
I have to start thinking about Geli’s birthday and a party for her. She’ll be 9 on April 4th. I can’t believe how big she is. It’s very cool and a little sad – all at the same time.
That’s all for now folks. Have a great evening and I’ll see ya tomorrow!
