Well, I finished one purse yesterday! I’m still not really happy with it, but that’s not unusual for me!

I started with the name, and finished with the dragonfly, and when I saw the dragonfly all shaded in, then I was unhappy with the name, BUT I am just thrilled to be finished. The rest won’t look like this one. They’ll all be different!

Oh!!! Have I mentioned that I make purses, before? Well, I do! Felted, Wool Purses! You have to knit a bag (with real wool), then throw it in hot water, and it shrinks all up and then I embroider and/or bead it, and the idea is to hopefully sell them.

I’ve been carrying around this bag for a while now, with out the beading and embroidery. I’ve had quite a few positive comments from people, and I figured that I really should get busy and actually “finish” it off!

I worked on it yesterday, and now my fingers are sore from pushing the needle into the wool! It’s hard! I know, I’m such a whiner! But, I think that I’m going to knit some more and give my fingers a chance to rest!

I do have 8 more purses to bead and/or embroider, but I’ll do them later! I have to get something done today!

I’m going grocery shopping, and then I need to work on my September budget (it feels like it’s all shot to hell, but I know that in reality it can’t be that bad – I hope!). I need to tidy my house! Then I need to plan the meals for this week. Thankfully I had the frozen soup in my freezer, and that’s what we had for dinner last night, but I really need to plan. I feel so bad – I harp on other people to plan, and then I really slacked off yesterday with the planning aspect of things!

No Worries! Today is a new day! Kids are off to school, and I’m getting busy!
