I don’t know what’s gotten into me. I started clearing today, and right now, I have 3 huge bags of garbage down in my garage. My bedroom closet (where I seem to stash all the “stuff” when people are coming over) is totally cleaned out. I cleaned out the back bedroom that no one was staying in, and when I did that, Xan decided that she wanted that room back. It was originally hers! We threw out tons of garbage from her room, and moved her over, and cleared out her closet and drawers. Got rid of all the too small clothes, and the toys that she doesn’t play with. Once her room was cleared out, then J wanted to get in on the action as well. I’ve never met a child who was so interested in changing furniture around, and moving rooms. Even before I started moving rooms around today he had mentioned that we were boring, and we could move into his room and sleep on the floor, just to change things up a bit! Wouldn’t that be fun, mom??? Yah! Loads of fun, J! Not!!!

He has pretty much been across that hall from us for almost the whole time that we’ve lived here (since he was 6 months old) I have a hard time moving him down the hall away from us. It’s hard too because he still gets up in the night and crawls into bed with us – not every night, more like twice a week. We don’t really mind as long as he goes back to sleep quickly and sleeps calmly. Sometimes he does the egg beater into Jon’s back, and that ends our (me and J) snuggling pretty quickly, as Jon carries him back to his bed.

A part of me is sad, too, because he’s my baby, and I don’t have another baby to put into that room. Sad! Very Sad! But I can’t dwell on it too much – this is where I’m at, and I can’t change it.

I think that I’ll make it into my crafting room. It’s close enough that I can still be where everyone else is, and yet it’s not right in the middle of it all. If I had a laptop then I’d just set myself up in there, but seeing as I don’t have one………oh well! It’ll be good for the craft stuff ’cause I can just stop what I’m doing, and just shut the door and walk away from it all. The hope is that it will be in the same place when I come back as when I left it. I can dream, can’t I???

So, My house is not in too bad of shape considering that I went on a deep cleaning binge today, and then cleared and changed around 2 bedrooms. J’s old room is a disaster. I basically shoved anything that didn’t have a place back into there. So, I’ve shut the door, and will attempt to deal with it on Monday.

I still have this weird pain in my left side. Not as bad as it was, but it almost feels like a muscle pull or tear only it’s only in one spot, and yet it doesnt hurt all the time, just some of the time. Oh well! Going’ to watch some TV to unwind! Hope your weekends been more fun than mine!
