Streamlining
I feel like I’ve been wasting butt-loads of time lately. When I actually stop and think about my time during the day, and what I what to get accomplished, and what I need to get accomplished, and what I’m not currently accomplishing – I get frustrated.
I have woken up most mornings with really good intentions, and then when I look up at the clock, and realize that I have half an hour until I pick up my kids(at 2:45pm), and I wonder where all the time went.
It is just flying by, and I’m getting nothing “concrete” done. Not that my world is in complete chaos – it’s not – but I’m just not sitting back at the end of the day and thinking to myself,
Nope, it’s more along the lines of,
I want that to change. I’ve filled my calendar with all the appointments that I have (that I know about, yet) and now I’m going to sit down and write out everything that I want to do, and then I’m going to break it down even further to what to do need/want to do today and tomorrow and before the weekend…..blah, blah, blah!
I always feel like I’ve accomplished so much more when I do this, and you’d think that I’d learn to just keep on top of it.

Do you just fly by the seat of your pants, and hope for the best??

Hey there. On weekends when I am off, it seems like it is with you. I have all these intentions and then the day is done. And really, with going to church on Sunday’s we really only have Saturday. AAWW, oh well, last Saturday, I went and got a pedicure. I know you said in one of your posts that you don’t like people touching your feet, but oh my goodness, I was in heaven, well close to heaven.
Hey, I started my own blog. Take a look. http://mamalorna.blogspot.com
It is only the beginning, but I am getting the hang of it.

I love To Do lists. They keep me on track. Sometimes, I will add things to the list after I’ve done them so that I can check/cross them off. I feel a deep sense of satisfaction from looking at my list of completed tasks. I’m such a nerd, I know.
What sorts of tasks do you have on your list today?
I have:
- write and submit two assignments online (done!)
- laundry (done!)
- lunch (done!)
- buy a gift for a birthday party tonight
- tidy and vacuum
- dinner (I know what I’m making, so it’s pretty much done!)
- go to class
I was going to wash the kitchen floor but the window guys are coming tomorrow to replace our patio door, so there is no sense in washing the floor when it’s just going to get dirtied up tomorrow anyway.
