‘Member how I was saying yesterday that we were desperate to connect with this baby.

OH MY GOODNESS!

Tonight I was sitting in the TV room watching Survivor, and the baby started kicking. It kicked once, and then it kicked again. I wondered if I could feel it so i put my hand on my stomach, and thought I could. It kicked again, and again, all in the same spot. I called Jon to come quickly, and he put his hand on my stomach, and felt it.

The baby actually kicked hard enough, and in the same spot long enough that Jon was able to feel it. That was just so amazing.

Hard to believe that I’m not even 18 weeks yet, and yet we both have been able to feel this little one, now.

I’m so happy!

In other news, I woke up last night in the middle of the night and my blood was POUNDING in my head. It felt like my heart was racing, and really, for the middle of the night it was. I timed it, and it was beatin at 79 beats per minute. I layed there for a while, and tried to calm down, and eventually fell asleep. I don’t know what that was all about, but I think I’ll mention it at my next appointment. I wonder if it’s something serious, or if I just startled myself awake.

Oh well! This is my post for today. Tomorrow I’ll post again, but I will hopefully have a few ultrasound pictures to share. Yup! It’s finally here I go for my big ultrasound tomorrow. YAAAAAHHHHHHH!
