Day #5
Today was not terribly exciting, other than the fact that I had to get up and get going again for the second day in a row. COME ON! This is my Spring Break too, ya know! It’s all my fault ’cause when I booked this Dr’s appt, I wasn’t thinking that it was smack in the middle of Spring Break.
So, I hauled myself out of bed, only to be greeted by a few good kicks. I will never get over how amazing that feels. I’m sure that you may hear me complain at some point in the future that I really wish this kid would stop tap dancing on my bladder, but I still LOVE the feeling of the baby moving inside of me.
I’m sure that the kids could definately feel the kicks right now, and it may even be possible to see a kick, but there is no rhyme or reason to this kids movement. It likes to keep us guessing.
So, back to my doctor’s appointment today….I was tha MOST relaxed that i have ever been going into the appointment today. My bood pressure was fabulous, and I’m measuring large for the dates, but you would be too, if this was your 8th pregnancy. It’s not by mch, just a week ot two. I’m just hoping that growing baby’s is not like raising goldfish. If you give them a larger aquarium or pond, they will grow to a bigger size to accomodate their surroundings, and just ’cause there is not too much muscle tone left in the ol’ uterus, I’m really not wanting a 12 pound baby at the end of this.
We did get the results back from the ultrasound, and this is a perfectly normal baby from all the measurments, and it is looking perfect. This is, of course, what we were hoping and believing for. There was no indication that they were able to determine the sex of the baby, and so we shall just have to wait for the next appointment to see if the imaging company sends a report over. I hope! I hope! I hope! Unfortunately, I don’t have another appointment for 4 weeks. AAAAWWWKKK! How will I ever make it?
The kids have kept the house clean for this whole week; and so as a reward, we are taking them to Chuck E. Cheese tomorrow. Oh the joys! ** eye’s rolling **
Well, I’m going to go and spend some quality time with the television Jon and I’ll probably talk to ya tomorrow.
