It’s Spring Break Week #2. Here’s a Weekend Recap!
I could say that this was Day #6 or Day #8 depending on whether or not you count the weekends as part of the holiday ’cause normally they are off days anyways….I know I’m way over thinking this, but it’s 10:30pm , and I’m tired, and have a headache, and CAN’T WAIT for my chiro appt tomorrow.
Saturday was a freaking busy day (but a fabulous one) at our house, and I have an overload of pictures to show you. We slept in, and then while I was still sleeping in, Jon made a bacon, egg and hashbrown breakfast (my favorite kind of breakfast). While Jon was making breakfast, Jeremy was being so good and quiet and this is why…….
He made a Video Tower by using ALL of the VHS tapes we own. He looks quite pissed in this picture, but I think that’s because Jon was not too happy with him, and had told him that he had to take it down CAREFULLY and put every last tape back in their covers and put them all back on the shelf. Do you see how tall the tower is, though? It’s almost as tall as him…
I love this next picture ’cause SERIOUSLY, what’s up with the posing?
We did get that all cleaned up and put away, AND because the kids had been SO GOOD and kept the house clean the whole entire week, we were off to Chuch E. Cheese.
You can see the whole entire set…..there’s not really that many pics ’cause we’re lame like that….. by clicking on the sweet picture of Chuck E. Cheese. It POURED all the way into town, and well, basically for the entire day it was one big dump of water….not fun, but we over here on the West Coast are pretty much used to it. We’re just giant walking water rats 75% of the year! That’s why we have some nice skin…….we’re so hydrated! Well, come on! I gotta find something good about all this freakin’ rain, don’t I?
Anyways, we met up with my brother-in-law and his two girls and everyone had a great time. They spent all their tokens in record time, ate some really crappy pizza (I even had a piece, and TOTALLY paid for it later when I was bloated, and well………it didn’t sit well with me. Let’s just leave it at that!), bought some junk with their coupons that they won for paying those silly games, and then - Thankfully - time was up! We packed up and came home! I do have to say the Chuck E. Cheese in no longer the dark scary piss smelling hole that it was in my childhood. They’ve done away with the ball room, and it’s pretty neat and clean and bright, and other than the 50 bazillion people that were in there this particular Saturday - it’s not too bad of a place to take your kids to for a few hours of entertainement.
I’m not sure when the magic happened, somewhere between the morning and when we got home - I lost my children and 3 new ones were in their place. I say this because something magical happened, and if they were my children, then I’m not sure how to deal with it all.
Are you ready for it?
ALL THREE CHILDREN ACTUALLY PLAYED NICE TOGETHER FOR ABOUT 2 HOURS WITH NO FIGHTING OR ARGUING OR ANYTHING! To say that I was shocked was a complete understatement. I just about passed out, and had to ask Jon if we really had brought our 3 kids home, and not some imposters that we had been slipped back at Chuck E Cheese. Then it was bedtime, and they all had a complete meltdown, and I knew that they were in fact my very own children. Welcome home my lovies, welcome home!

They decided to have a restaurant. Jeremy was the diner, Xan was the order taker and filler, and Geli was the waiter. It was all done up complete with my fancy tea cups and candle light. The girls even wore their black and whites. It was way too cute! If you look at none of the other pictures, check these ones out.
Well, that was our fabulous Saturday! Today’s been a good bu busy day. I’ve finally saved up enough money to start funneling our kids through the dentist. It’s been WAY passed the 6 month check up mark, probably more like over a year, but if you can’t pay for it, you can’t pay for it. She’s got 4, yup FOUR, cavities that we have to deal with. YUCK! DOUBLE YUCK! Only one is URGENT to get treated, but still….that’s another $100 dollars to get it filled. Can you hear me whimpering over here? Why is it all so freakin’ expensive? Now I’m stressed about taking Jeremy next month….I might acutally postpone his appointment for another month, and get Xan’s cavity filled next month. It’s all so frustrating. I wish we had medical and dental extended benefits, but Oh the joys of being self empolyed.
Well, I’m off to bed. Only 15 more hours until I get in to see my Chiropractor…..that’s how bad I’m feeling….the countdown is on. Stupid headaches! Can’t stand them!
All right now……I’ve blathered on enough! I’m done!
