I’ve got an internet connection, although it’s REALLY slow. So slow in fact that you shouldn’t expect too many posts from me.
This is the door that we stare at all day. Well, when we are not in with Chris or eating or sleeping. But, we spend a good part of our days just staring at this lovely door. This is an unbelievable process to walk through, and I can’t imagine the torture that people would be going through if they didn’t have God walking through this with them.
Thank so all so much for your prayers. We totally feel them surrounding us. The peace is amazing. That’s one thing I keep praying for (among many others), that the room that Chris is in would be almost smothered like a thick fog with peace, and that no one would be able to enter the room without feeling the peace and hope and an assurance and faith that God will finish the work that He’s started in Christopher’s body. Nina is doing so well. She seemsto be walking through this journey with a hope and peace and a quiet assurance that God is in control and that Chris will recover. It’s absolutely inspiring to be around her, and I know that Chris couldn’t have picked a more amazing woman to complete him than Nina. I’m so honored to be her sister.
I wrote a whole bunch after this, but then lost the internet connection, and am too tired to try and remember what I wrote. Please keep praying for Chris and Nina and their parents and families. God’s peace has been amazing, and we just want and need more of Him all around us.
Thank you so much for yout love and support. It means so much to be able to read all the notes, e-mails and comments with the love, encouragements and prayers. It’s wonderful for all to see how positive and encouraging the support is. The response has been overwhelmingly supportive, with the scriptures, and words and prophecies and love. Again, we thank you.
We will continue to keep you updated as new information becomes available.
Please pray for Chris’s healing to take place according to God’s Kingdom schedule, and not according to man’s earthly schedule.
Pray that if he’s to get into the OR tomorrow that God would open the space at the exact right time.
Pray that Chris’s body would function exaclty as God intended when He created Chris.
We are praying that just like God knit Chris together in his mother’s womb, that He would once again do the same.
We believe that infection cannot live in the same body that has the Spirit of God living in it.
We believe that Chris will have a sound mind.
We believe that he will rest in perfect peace.
We are believing for the Life Giving Blood of Jesus to bring every cell in Chris’s body to life.
There is so much more, but I believe that God will give you the exact things to be praying for that need to be prayed for at the right time.

Our family has been praying for Chris and all your family. I just wanted to send these words of a song that helps us to go on in times of trouble.
He giveth more grace as our burdens grow greater. He sendeth more strength as our labours increase. To added afflictions He addeth His mercy. To multiplied trials He multiplies peace.
We will continue to uphold your family in prayer.

praise God for his surpassing peace and understanding. i thank God everyday for the most amazing family in the world – a blessing on its own. you are all such incredible witnesses to his power in that hospital and i pray the light that shines from you and from chris’ room will touch everyone around you, as i’m sure it already has.
i miss you all – say hi and give my love to everyone.

I have sent your e-mails to everyone I know, through family and friends… I know at least 8 churches in Alabama have been in serious prayer, 3 churches in Georgia, agiain prayer, I have sent emails to friends in Prince George, Vanderhoof, Quesnel, and throughout Canada, and they have all got their churches… FULL CHURCHES praying. My cousin works at Royal Inland and has gone in and prayed over him while in surgery… special requests… she said when things got tough she prayed harder… With all this love it is so wonderful to see how our lord has united us… Thank you for all the updates, it is nice to know that Nina is so strong, I pray for her often, giving her the hope and strength that she will need, and when she feels she has no more that god takes her hand and leads her further….

The email I receivecd from your mom was that chris
was into surgery and was going again. We here at
the orchard mall got a home made card that I made
to copy your mom.She gets some colored paper and
make a card that we would sign and karen would
deliver to whom ever.I tried to find a store bought
card that we all could sign but all the places I
went to try and buy one had small cards only.So when
you receive this one I hope you like it but we need
an address to send it to.Email the address to me at
my email and I’ll forward the card to you in kamloops
and I’ll forward the card onto you.Our prayers are
with chris and the whole familys.

My wife Rosie and I are praying for Chris, and we have added him to all the prayer lists we know!
