Aunty Sherry Comment moved***
The following Comment came in from Aunty Sherry, who works as a Nurse at VGH…
aunty sherry:
Chris arrived safely to the emergency dept. of VGH at around 1 pm…it was so good to see his beautiful face. And to see him open his eyes and squeeze my hand..I reminded him of how loved he is, and it was a blessing to be able to pray over him..it is unbelievably busy in the emergency right now, and he will have a bed in the ICU as soon as they can transfer someone out(may be a few hours for that to happen) The plastic surgeon is still to see Chris’s arm, but while I was there, we removed his dressing and the trauma doctor took a look and said,â€well, he’s been sent to the right placeâ€..pray that they will be able to have o.r. time as soon as needed and that God continues to guide the earthly hands of those caring for Chris..

“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God in whom I trust.”
“Because he love me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him for he acknowledges my name.”
” With long life will i satsify him and show him my salvation”. Psalm 91: 1,2,14,16.
Thankyou Lord that you are so faithful. Thankyou for your goodness…. thankyou for this beautiful family and friends that trust in you. Thankyou for the work you are doing in the life of this young man and his wife. Surely you are raising them up to do awesome things for you. We trust in you for continued healing in Chris and Nina. Thankyou for bringing Chris home to be cared for in Vancouver….(thankyou for placing Sherry right there by his side.. we know he will get the best care and love with her watching over him)

Chris was moved to the ICU (Bed 21) around 4:30 this afternoon.I know what a miracle that was and I am thankful for the favor shown by my colleages there. He has been seen by a number of specialists and the plastic surgery team is planning to take him to the O.R. tomorrow for a look at his arm and further debridement of tissue…may our prayer be for continued restoration of tissue and nerves, and for guidance to the surgical team as they contemplate major reconstruction of the left arm. Psalm 121:1-3 “I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved:he that keepeth thee will not slumber.” Rest well tonight, Nina, Karen and Patti..we continue to lift you up.
