Marja & Jyrki’s Update on Chris Kennedy - May 16, 2007
Today May 16 5-7 pm
Marja and I went to see Chris, it’s been a while since we saw him awake. I must say ,to us there was a big diffrence since the last time we saw him.
Karen asked Chris if he knew our names, He said with a squeaky voice thru the trach tube, “Jyrki and Marja”. Karen asked do you know who they are,Chris said “He is the mouse trapper”. I thought man he is so out of it, But then I remembered that Chris and I had a private secret. We had trapped some mice a few years ago in our shed and told no one about it, especially Marja.
Well he kind of let the cat out of the bag. I had to laugh and at the same time I felt so good to see that he is doing so well.
Most of our communication was thru Chris writing, and it was actually pretty easy to read. We spent about 2 hours with him and he went none stop asking a ton of questions.
Marja and I left Chris’s bed side with a big burden off of our hearts. Our Father in Heaven has and is doing his work in Chris’s life.
Chris should be going into more surgery tomorrow. Lets pray that it all goes great and that he will continue to strengthen day by day.
