Chris’s Update from June 7th, 2007…………from Momma
Chris is coming along.Â
He has been moved a “Step Down.â€Â He is now on a ward in the Orthopedic Trauma Unit. Please pray as he and we make this transition. It is different staff, different procedures, and feels again like we are trying not to lose ground. Little set backs can seem so hard.
On a positive note… His head is clearing more each day. He still needs prayer for his short-term memory. This is the part of the brain that was bruised in the accident. Even yesterday, he wasn’t sure why he was in the hospital. So we thank you for your prayers as he recovers from this. God has been so good and Chris has made so much progress. I am thankful to God every day for Who He is and what he has done for Chris and for us.
There is talk of moving him again as he still improves. They have told us He will need time for his bones to heal before he can start to rehab. Please pray with us that He will be able to get the best help possible and God’s hand will be in this next move. From what I understand, it will still be at least until the 17th. That is when the Mumps virus restrictions will be over.
Also He has been put on the list for G. F. Strong’s Rehab so we can be praying about that… that God will arrange what is needed in the right timing.
We know God’s hand is on Christopher and He is the Master Physician on Chris’ case. Sometimes I just need to remind myself of this. I got out the books we were using when all this began and I am going to re-read what God has told us. From the beginning. It is good to stir up what God has given us. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. We speak out the creative word of God. WE KNOW……
IT WILL GO WELL WITH CHRISTOPHER AND HE WILL LIVE LONG ON THIS EARTH. THAT IS GOD’S PROMISE FOR CHRISTOPHER AND ALL WHO HONOR THEIR FATHER AND MOTHER.
So we will continue to stand, having done all to stand we will stand.

Kare he’s right into the 4 hours of movie watching…I could only make it through 20 minutes though! I asked if he had a good day and he said it was nice to see Alanna…so that’s something that at this moment he remembered it! Praise the Lord for His goodness…have a good sleep. xo
