All I want for Christmas is my Two Three Front Teeth…..
Today, Nov27th was a good day…..
We were up at 5 am and on our way to town by 5:30 or so.
Chris had a CT Scan at St Paul’s first thing this morning. It has to do with the up coming surgery on his arm and the stuff to do with his hand. After that was over we went to VGH and the Diamond Pavilion. We decided to get a Starbucks Breakfast, and coffee before going to the next appointment.
Chris got out at the corner and I went to find a place to park. When I arrived the man that usually serves us, had asked Chris where his mom was and by the time I arrived – He had usual order ready; sitting on the table in front of Chris.
It was particularly nice because right when I arrived, there were so many people in the line; it would have taken quite awhile to get ours. Later when I went up to get our sandwiches, I was going to pay for the coffees but He told me…â€NO, I got it†He is the nicest person. Times when I go there and Chris is not with me.. if he were in an appointment or something… he always asks how he is doing.
We met up with Aunty Sherry there and enjoyed our coffee.
She has been such a help with asking questions and with finding the records department and making sure that things go smoothly and properly. Thank you Aunty Sherry for always being there for us.
Chris second appointment… was very good news… all his counts are in good order, and there is no need to be concerned at the moment.
They figure that Chris’ body has responded the way they wanted it to, and there is no threat or need for the leg to need the rod out. Praise the Lord.
The Doctor had a look at his X rays and the CT Scan came up from this morning….. We got to see them….
He was happy with the results but asked where we had got the CT Scan and why??? The upcoming surgery on Chris’ arm was brought up and the Dr. voiced his concern that anytime you open the body up there is a risk of infection, but they will keep a watch on it and everything is looking really good.
Oh…and you should see what we saw on the Xray…. There is bone growing…on the leg bones…..
where the open space was and it is looking good. At least if you are looking at what you once saw was a wide open space with nothing growing there….
We stopped in to see some of the wonderful nurses and two of the nicest physios and a very special lady, OT that had been so helpful to us while in VGH. It’s so nice to be able to reconnect with those people who have had such an impact on your life.
Next Chris had an appointment to get his teeth, and he looks great doesn’t he? He had a bunch of dental work done while getting those new front teeth. Might as well get as much if it done at one time as you can, eh?
Then we headed for home…..Arriving around 5:45pm. What an incredibly long day but, it was a good day got lots done.
Chris is managing everything in stride, and all in all, it was very good day.
We have so much to Praise the Lord for…..so much to be thankful for and so many to thank.
Love, Karen (Momma)

Sweet! looking Good CJ…but I see you decided not to go with the gold plated and cubic zirconion grill…that’s probably a smart idea seeing as cubic zirconians are a bit to bling for everyday hmm?
