I’m so sorry that I’ve not updated this before now.

Short quick Update and I’ll try to get some more fantastical news on here shortly.

Chris has had his surgery to put the rod back into his left leg. OUCH! Apparently he was in a bit of pain after the surgery, but who wouldn’t be having a rod drilled down the center of your leg bone and then screwed in place……Not nice. Not nice, at all!

They starved him for 3 days while he sat on the wait list to get his surgery, and FINALLY on the third day he got in. Now, he was allowed to eat after 6pm and before midnight, but still….to sit in your hospital room and not be able to go anywhere because they might be up “any minute” to get you…..so frustrating. Anyway, he got the surgery and they finally got his pain management worked out and I still haven’t een able to get in to see him because I have a sick baby - even though Chris assures me that baby germs don’t count…but,fter all those signs that I posted - I didn’t want anyone freaking out on me and frankly I didn’t want ‘Siah pickig any crazy bugs up from anyone else there who disregarded those signs….naughty, naughty people.

BUT…..TAH DAH…Chris is back in Walnut Grove and I was going to go in and see him today BUT instead of a runny nose and cough now ‘Siah has a fever - but I’m sure it’s just from him immunizations and not becuase he has morphed from a cough and cold into some sort of infection. He’s happy and still eating, but just hot and clingy….oh…wait a sec….this wasn’t a post about ‘Siah, was it……it’s supposed to be about Chris - my Bad!

So, I didn’t get to see Chris today and so I can’t give you a frist hand up date and I’m too lazy to pick up the phone and call him…which is totally stupid because it’s sitting right here beside me….okay hold on a sec. I’ll see if he has any loving words for you his adoring fans…

Ringing……ringing……he answered and it dropped the call….stupid reception in Walnut Grove…trying again….oh the things I do for you people - I hope you appreciate all the effort I go through………still ringing……….and ringing…I’m probbaly making him hobble upstairs where there is better reception as opposed to the almost non existant reception in the basement. One last try and then you’re outta luck.

Alrighty, so I just had a conversation with Chris and he said to thank you for all your thoughts and prayers (’cause he’s sweet like that) and aside from that we chatted about everything and nothing and really none of it was worth repeating except that I was right and he was in the basement and i did make him hobble up stairs to get the call…..Oooops…well, it’s good to keep him mobile right? I’m just helping him along. That’s how I choose to look at it and not like I was annoying or something.

Also, They are having Lobster tonight….him and my dad. Can you believe it? I’m tempted to head on over there for dinner and to forgo my lovely Roast chicken.

Oh well! He said that he’s not calling a block party or anything, but if you happened to stop by he wouldn’t slam the door in your face.
