So, there are often times LOOOOOOOOONG stretches in between when Chris does anything exciting that’s worth reporting on….or….well….he does exciting stuff all the time, but it just doens’t get reported on very often. Maybe that’s more like it.

I thought that to fill in some space, it would be kinda fun to do some interviews.

So, I’ve e-mailed some people that I know….not everyone, and believe me when I say that if you’d like to be famous, then just leave me a comment below and make sure you’v included your name and e-mail address and I’ll shoot you an e-mail with some questions to answer and send them back with a picture and we’ll talk about you too. Sound good, mmmmmkay – lets get started.

In the original e-mail that I sent out, I mentioned to the few that I e-mailed that I’d do it Alphabetically, but…I’ve changed my mind. I’m just going to get going with those who have sent in their replies, and so if you contact me….you could be next.

Our First Interviewee – I don’t even think that’s a word -but anyhooooo, the first person that I’m going to exploit is…….drum roll please…..

Anyway, this is my Uncle Dan.

The guy on the left….obviously not the girl on the right, but she has about 24 hours to get me a beauty shot that she wants up or I’m picking something fabulous off of Facebook…hint hint, A.A.K.!

He is my Dad’s (and Chris’s Dad – if you have no clue as to who I am) next in line brother. If you look hard enough, you might be able to find a sexy picture of him in a firefighters calendar……because he is a…….yup – you guessed from my mad clues…A firefighter. He is the lone male in an otherwise all girl house (again with the blatently obvious clue skillz that I have) and is still managing to stay most sane despite all the estrogen floating around the house. Besides being a Hot FireFighter (get it Hot – Fire, ha ha ha ha, ah I’m so punny!) he is also a Tiger Woods wannabe. He is one of my favorite uncles, and I love him dearly.

Now here’s a bit about him, in his own words…..

1. What are the top 5 most played/listened to songs in your iPod, Mp3player, Discman, Walkman, Radio, Computer Streaming software program, Cassette Deck, 8 Track Player or record player….have I covered all the areas?

- The whole ‘Daughtery’ album,
- ‘In the Belly of a whale’ ( Alanna knows it off by heart and sings along, it’s hillarious),
- random selection from am- 600,650, fm- 95.3.96.9.101.1, 103.5, 104.9, 106.5.
I just flick the buttons ’till I find one I like, what are the buttons for after all. Lifes too short to listen to lousy music when you have a choice at the push of a button.

2. Who are the last 3 people that you spoke to on the phone and why?

- Called Dad,
- Called carpool pal from work to see where I’m working on Sunday (which Hall, been on holiday for 3 weeks now).
- Sher called on way home from work.

3. What is at the top of your shopping list right now?

Fruit. And liquid Plumber!!!…

Someone , I’m not mentioning names but ‘Someone’s’ have ‘longisher’ hair (is that a word?) and the bath tub doesn’t drain very well after a shower or ‘Someone’ has a bath. So there you stand in ankle deep water and yes there will be a nice ring of shin and calf whiskers left upon it’s recession. ‘Someone’s gonna get hurt real bad’ !

4. Where “in the world” would you most rather be, as opposed to right here, right now?

Reallllllly tired of the slowwwwww start to warm weather so anywhere warm. But if I had a choice – DISNEYLAND- We love that place! And I might find a golf course too!

5. What are the last 3 books, or magazines or articles or whatever thing with words in it that you’ve read and this e-mail doesn’t count?

- Golf book ‘In Search of Tiger’ got it for my B’Day from Sher and the girls. It was great.
- Golf Magazine- ‘Score Golf’,
- The Province Newspaper gotta keep up with all the golf !!

6. Who do you look up to or are encouraged by in your life – a role model? And why….you don’t have to drone on and on and on and on, just a short 5 pages essay, please?

Alanna cuz she’s taller than me. Ha ha. joke she’s not that tall , yet.

I have said to members of my family on more than a few occasions “I want to be like my Dad“. No need to explain as you all know him and the reasons are so very obvious.

7. What do you want to be when you grow up?

Thinner ! I find that as I have already grown up I now am growing OUT! So yup it’s thinner for me.

8. Do you put the toilet paper to go over the top or under the bottom, when you put on a new roll?

Over the top and boy does it BUG me when it is done COMPLETELY wrong (ie under the bottom) and against the wall so you have to fiddle and fidget with it and get so frustrated and steaming mad that you get up, pull up your drawers and then try to remember ‘did I or didn’t I’ ? ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH better to be safe than sorry!!!

9. Can you type with two hands or are you the one finger wonder with amazing hunt and peck methodology?

I am the fastest hunt and pecker!!! But the ‘two’ handed hunt and peck typer I’ll have you know. And I’ve never made and error, NEVER. Well I thought I did once but I was wrong.

10. Are you a Starbucks or Tim Hortons fan?

Timmy HO s for sure. No Tall, hot fudge , foamy, half shot, blended, half caramel, half machiato, 180 degree face burning , steamed milk with extra whip for me. Just gimme it black and toss in a few ‘Toasted Coconut’ faves and I’m in Homer Heaven- “ahh Donuttt!!!”

So there you have it….now that we’re all bestest friends we can go out for coffee and a movie or something….or not. But, be sure to stay tuned to find out more about who the next person.
