And You’re The Next Contestant On The…….
….so this is not exactly the “Price is Right”, but I think the Interview’s are fun.
Today we are going to be talking with….
One of the sweetest, nicest, gentlest people I know. She is so positive and loving and to me is an amazing example of God’s unconditional love. I loved going over to her house growing up because it just felt so happy and friendly and peaceful, and well…I couldn’t have chosen better if I had made the choice myself, but I didn’t have anything to so with the choice of this lady being apart of our family, but I must say, “Uncle Rick, you have EXCELLENT taste.”
Aunty Linda, I love you and I love the way that you love all of us. I love your example of how important family is and I look up to you in so many ways….even if I don’t say that to you enough….or like….ever.
So, obviously…..seeing as I’ve named her already, and if the “Uncle Rick” clue wasn’t enough…..our Interviewee – it is a word…..I looked it up……..for today is…..
AUNTY LINDA

Alright, so Aunty Linda is on the left and Debbie is on the right, but just ignore Debbie….and Aunty Linda, I’m sorry, this is a picture from a thousand years ago and it’s a little bit blurry, but I still think you are beautiful…..as ALWAYS!
Aunty Linda is married to my Uncle Rick who is my Dad’s (and Chris’s dad if you still don’t know who I am) younger brother…My Dad is the oldest boy, and Rick is number 3 out of 4 but this post isn’t about him.
I’ve already talked enough, and so we’ll let Aunty Linda do some ‘splainin’ of her own.
1. What are the top 5 most played/listened to songs in your iPod, Mp3player, Discman, Walkman, Radio, Computer Streaming software program, Cassette Deck, 8 Track Player or record player….have I covered all the areas?
I have Matt’s cd, Jeff’s cd, Starfield and John Mayer in my car cd player. If I’m not driving, my favourite sound is absolute silence!
2. Who are the last 3 people that you spoke to on the phone and why?
I have mainly been talking with Paul and Nancy lately, trying to arrange visitation for my mom who is in hospital right now and make sure we all know how she is doing.
3.What is at the top of your shopping list right now?
I want some new clothes—summery blouse, a new nightie and I definitely need some new shoes!
4.Where “in the world†would you most rather be, as opposed to right here, right now?
I can’t wait to get down to Florida right now to meet Luke! He is the only reason that I would leave my backyard in the summertime.
5.What are the last 3 books, or magazines or articles or whatever thing with words in it that you’ve read and this e-mail doesn’t count?
How about “What am I planning on reading?†— I have the “Shack†packed in my carry-on for the plane trip.
6. Who do you look up to or are encouraged by in your life – a role model? And why….you don’t have to drone on and on and on and on, just a short 5 pages essay, please?
Grandma Kennedy has had a huge effect on my life. She was the best mother-in-law in the world. All I want to do is love and serve and be like Mom.
Karen Kennedy is also one of the hugest role models in my life. I have been influenced by her as a mom and wife and servant of God. The many, many days of sitting around her kitchen table listening to her expand on scripture and make it real. The memory verses on every cupboard door. Her creativity and dedication and ideas on raising kids.
Audrey Newton, Marg Allcock and Carol Buzza—for fashion sense and pure enjoyment of life and family.
7. What do you want to be when you grow up?
Grandma Kennedy
8. Do you put the toilet paper to go over the top or under the bottom, when you put on a new roll?
Don’t care at all…. I’m happy when there is paper left on the roll.
9. Can you type with two hands or are you the one finger wonder with amazing hunt and peck methodology?
This is too easy, typing is a huge part of my everyday work.
10. Are you a Starbucks or Tim Hortons fan?
Starbucks—tall, sugar free vanilla skinny latte, half sweet.
IMPORTANT NEWS!!!!!!!
Charlene and Jeff had a third child on June 14th – Luke Justice, 8 lbs 10 oz (and only one hour of labour). Big sister, Sydney, and brother, Noah are excited about sharing all their toys with him.
My mom fell 2 weeks ago and severely broke her arm and fractured her pelvis. The recovery is taking a lot longer than I anticipated. She had recently moved into an Independent Care home and was having so much fun making friends and enjoying the beautiful view from her apartment. Please pray for her when you think of it.

SHOES! YOU>>>need new shoes.
Are you training Sydney to love shoes as much as you do?
You can never have enough shoes, though.
Especially if you find the perfect ones to go with the perfect outfit!
I love you ALWAYS Aunty Linda.
